✨ What is movement guidance?
Educational exercise guides describe examples of movement, not an individual rehabilitation programme. They cannot establish the cause of pain or replace assessment by a qualified clinician.
⚡ What should I keep in mind?
- 1. Understand your symptoms Pain can have many causes. A short questionnaire cannot identify the cause, diagnose an injury or rule out an emergency.
- 2. Choose suitable activity Begin only with movements that are appropriate and comfortable. Do not force a stretch or push through pain.
- 3. Build gradually Vary positions during long periods of sitting and increase suitable activity gradually. Seek advice if discomfort persists, worsens or limits everyday activity.
How does this check-in work?
Choose an area, describe your concern and find educational guidance. Your answers stay in this page and are not saved or sent as a health record. A result is not medical clearance.
Medical caution
Seek urgent medical help for severe or sudden symptoms, major injury, inability to bear weight, new weakness or numbness, or a hot swollen joint with fever. Back pain with new bladder or bowel changes or numbness around the genitals needs emergency assessment. Do not use a questionnaire to rule out an emergency.
